Epitath for The Artist
Lệ Hà
(1933-2012) Oil on Canvas (120cmx120cm)
Shakespeare
sonnet No.12
Epitaph for the artist*
Epitaph
to think out of divine mercy
For
the fine artist in my remembrance
The
shooting star that my eyes have ever seen
When
all is transient and will return to the sea
All
is fading to be lost in the time flow
Your
artworks in the colors of self living
world
Will
stay on to immortalize your name
And
have an everlasting resonance
Bursting
fire to enlighten the world darkness
Perennial
flame to transcend human distress
Perhaps
not yet now but all for the future
For
the coming - very light of other shore
There
will be in my lon' heart the monument
Heights
of your life and creative moments
