What a joy to live and to love

Blooming flowers in the youthful days

Skylark to take me away

To the hinterland river of Bacchus

How I would like to be reborn

In love to listen to the summer-songs

Open my wings out and up to the sky

Into the heaven of grace and beauty

Or you would come with a magic wand

To touch my head for all my pains

And bring me to the unknown kingdom

Over the lands and over the seas

To the skyline of our lost rainbow

Ánh trăng vàng êm ả gió tình yêu

Hoa nở rộ trong vườn xanh tuổi ngọc

Chim bay cao vút đến tận chân trời

Hương rượu nồng say lời em ca hát

Em đã đến bên đường anh trở lại

Hoàng anh hót vang rội nắng mùa hè

Chắp vai anh đôi cánh của tình yêu

Đôi cánh vàng giữa vì sao lấp lánh

Em là nàng tiên với chiếc gậy thần

Khăn tiên thấm giùm anh hàng lệ nhỏ

Để vọng nhìn về bên kia dẫy núi

Xa thung lũng trần gian đầy tục lụy

Với đau thương và mất mát không cùng

Áng sông trôi cầu vồng muôn sắc thái

La baguette dorée

Oh! Quelle joie de vivre et de savoir aimer

Image de la belle fleur de la jeunesse

Hirondelle céleste pour me délivrer

A la source pour la gorgée d’eau de l’ivresse

Comme dans la soif d’aimer je me sens renaître

A écouter le chant continu de l’été

M’envoler dans le ciel jusqu’à me disparaître

Dans le charme de la grâce et de la beauté

Ou viendras-tu avec la baguette dorée?

Me toucher le front pour me dispenser les peines

Et pour m’emmener dans le royaume bleuté

En haut des monts, au-delà des forêts lointaines

Horizon en arc-en-ciel de notre innocence

Rive sereine d’une nouvelle existence
