We keep on going into the night

Trampling beds of innocent flowers

All the way to neversky

Promises of love in tender years

Lonely travellers in twilight

We are shadows on the road of oblivion

Dead leaves flying in the autumn wind

Sheets of paper from the memory-diary

It sings to us the slow ballad

Lost loves and lost friends’ melodies

Wandering and sorrows lullaby

We are longing for the destination

Shore of rest and of permanence

For the end of our vagrancy

Lên đường lặng lẽ ta vào đêm

Đạp lên hoa lá tuổi đương thì

Ôi! Đóa hồng tươi mang hứa hẹn

Cho cõi địa đàng ngọn gió xuân

Đưa chân đơn độc buổi chiều sương

Ra đi vẫy gọi tiếng vô thường

Những lá vàng thu mùa gió lạnh

Rạn vỡ lòng ta những tiếc thương

Du ca tiếng hát vườn hoa ấy

Tình yêu bạn cũ lạc về đâu

Lữ hành lạc bước trên sa mạc

Chẳng biết bao giờ ta tới nơi

Đến bờ sông vắng con đò đợi

Dưới bóng cây tùng nghỉ lãng du

Nous continuons notre voyage vers la nuit

Ecraser sans le savoir de nos pas fortuits

Les fleurs d’innocence comme autant de promesses

Au pays lointain de l’amour et de la tendresse

Solitaires voyageurs dans le crépuscule

Nous sommes ombres sur la route de l’oubli

Dans le vent de l’automne s’envolent les feuilles

Nous pensons aux pages-souvenir de la vie

Il nous chante pourtant dans le coeur la ballade

Mélodie des amours et des amitiés

Joies et peines de la traversée du nomade

Et bien souvent nous aspirons à l’arrivée

La rive désirée de calme permanence

Pour le repos et pour la fin de notre errance
